Channel Manager

We’re looking for a results-driven Account Executive to lead our Channel business.  In this role you will be responsible for monetizing our existing partner relationships as well as identifying and building long-term relationships with new partners. You will demo Chute software, help enable partner sales forces with materials and education, negotiate and structure agreements, and ultimately be responsible for driving revenue through the channel.  You will help drive ideas for new and expanded product integrations such as our integrations with Salesforce.com, Oracle, Adobe, and various digital asset management systems. You will also lead the relationships with our key marketing agency partners to help drive new and expanded business opportunities. 

Responsibilities:

  • Establish productive, professional relationships with key partner personnel
  • Recruit, educate, and nurture your own channel partners to achieve success
  • Coordinate the involvement of Chute team members, including support, service, technical and management resources, in order to meet partner performance objectives and partners’ expectations
  • Meet assigned targets for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives in the channel
  • Proactively lead a joint partner planning process that develops mutual performance objectives, financial targets, and critical milestones associated with a productive partner relationship
  • Proactively assesses, clarify, and validate partner needs on an ongoing basis
  • Sell-through partner organizations to end customers in coordination with partner sales resources, agencies, and systems integrators
  • Lead solution development efforts that best address end-customer needs, while coordinating the involvement of all necessary company and partner personnel

Requirements:  

  • Minimum of three to five years’ experience in sales, solutions, or business development
  • Have a hunter mentality (business development + pipeline activity)
  • Excellent knowledge of Salesforce.com or similar CRM system 
  • Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record
  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to exercise assertiveness to influence others so as to create desired sales results
  • Prioritizing, time management and organizational skills. Superior attention to detail
  • Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience needs
  • Relationship management skills and openness to feedback
  • BS/BA degree or equivalent required
  • Some travel required
